Karen Mamani Osinaga

Karen was born and raised in Cochabamba, Bolivia and graduated from the Universidad Mayor de San Simon with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She worked extensively with underserved communities around Cochabamba as a loan officer for Pro Mujer, a microfinance organization, where she helped secure small loans for poor, rural, indigenous families.  Karen currently works as a loan officer at Banco Economico, one of Bolivia’s largest financial institutions, where she manages the bank’s Small Business Loan Division.  On her spare time Karen enjoys dancing, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
